Traffic on state roads is taking place in winter conditions on wet roads with remnants of slush on the road after the intervention of our on-duty teams. Snowfall is weakly noticeable in Kichevo, on Preseka and Bukovo.
There are bans for heavy goods vehicles for preventive reasons on road routes, Mavrovo – Debar, Gostivar – Straža – Kichevo, Tetovo – Popova Šapka, at the planned crossings Pletvar, Preseka, Gjavato and Strumica – Berovo.
Smaller landslides may occur on certain road routes that pass through gorges and cuts.
JP Makedonijapat appeals for careful management of the vehicles, respect for the posted traffic signals, as well as adjustment of the speed according to the road conditions.
The duty teams of JP MAKEDONIJAPAT are constantly on the ground with 172 special vehicles for road maintenance, and keep all road routes passable.
