The traffic on the state roads is ongoing in winter conditions, on wet roads.
Snowfalls of variable intensity are recorded at Popova Shapka, Mavrovo, at the border crossing Deve Bair, Krushevo, Kratovo, Probishtip and at the mountain passes Straža, Gjavato, Pletvar and Preseka, but at the moment they do not pose an obstacle to the flow of traffic.
Reduced visibility due to the appearance of fog from 30 – 40 m. is on the Tetovo – Popova Shapka road.
All road routes in the country are passable.
Smaller landslides may occur on certain road routes that pass through gorges and cuts.
JP Makedonijapat appeals for careful management of the vehicles, respect for the posted traffic signals, as well as adjustment of the speed according to the road conditions.
The duty teams of JP MAKEDONIJAPAT are constantly on the ground with 172 special vehicles for road maintenance, and keep all road routes passable.
