The 02 Initiative has asked for the case concerning the hazardous waste discovered on the road to Orman village to be investigated immediately.
The Initiative says that it often receives information about hazardous waste in that area and asks why authorities haven’t reacted so far, considering its impact on the environment and people’s health.
Environment Minister Kaja Sukova, commenting on the matter, points out that a procedure to determine legality of the storing of the waste will be announced.
More information, she adds, will be presented this working week.
