153rd Anniversary of Revolutionary Goce Delcev’s Birth Marked in Skopje

On Tuesday, the marking of the 153^rd anniversary of Goce Delcev’s birth saw calls for national unification and for following the revolutionary’s ideology.

“Delcev is a great of ours and part of the Macedonian identity”, PM Hristijan Mickoski, who headed the Government’s delegation that laid flowers at his grave at the Church of the Ascension of Jesus in Skopje, said.

SDSM leader Venko Filipce urged overcoming of differences, unification for national interests, and a joint fight for a more prosperous country.

Flowers were laid also by, among others, President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, representatives of VMRO-DPMNE, LDP, DUI, and a delegation of Parliament.
