On Saturday, the 25th anniversary of the ambush near Karpalak was marked. In the center of Prilep, delegations from the Cabinet of the President Siljanovska Davkova, Parliament, the Government, the Ministry of Defense, the Army, the Municipality of Prilep, the families of those killed in the ambush, and political parties paid tribute to the ten members of the Army’s reserve composition killed.
Dreams, families, hopes, and plans were written in their lives, but when the homeland called them, they did not waver, i.e., they left to defend it and gave their lives doing so, Prilep Mayor Dejan Prodanoski stated at the marking.
DefMin Misajlovski said the courage and sacrifice would never be forgotten. On social media, PM Mickoski said August 8 was one of the dates that were never forgotten.
