A 37-year-old Skopje man, L.B., has been charged with participation in a foreign army, police, paramilitary or parapolice formations.
As the Interior Ministry said on Monday, in September 2023, the 37-year-old, together with another person, T.S., since deceased, applied, through the Telegram app, in the frames of an open competition for Russian military participation for a monthly compensation of 3,000 euros.
“After they’d gotten a travel visa, both went to Russia, where, on 23 September 2024, they signed a deal with the Donetsk People’s Republic’s Interior Ministry,” police added.
