46-Year-Old Detained on Suspicion of Helping Palevski Escape to Turkiye

Prior to Interior Minister Spasovski’s press-conference, a 46-year-old man from Skopje had been detained in the case concerning the murders of Vanja Gjorcevska and Pance Zezovski.

Police suspect that he helped prime suspect, Ljupco Palevski, escape to Turkiye, that is, he drove him from Serbia to Bulgaria and from Bulgaria to Turkey.

Prosecutors have evidence that the suspect three days ago was caught on camera at the Kalotina (Serbia-Bulgaria) crossing and Kapitan Andreevo (Bulgaria-Turkiye) one. Prosecutors have sought a 48-hour dentition measure for him, too. The other four suspects were taken to the Criminal Court for interrogation.
