Aggeler: US Cannot Guarantee Integration of North Macedonia in EU

US Ambassador Angela Aggeler, commenting on the process for integration of North Macedonia in the EU, said that the US cannot guarantee there will be no more obstacles for the country in that process.

“Washington cannot guarantee your integration in the EU, because we are not part of the EU. I think that is a discussion that is taking place between the EU leaders, but still, I can voice my satisfaction that the PM and his ministers are in Washington. I think the fact that the visited Washington several times after assuming the office of PM demonstrates the good relations between the US and North Macedonia and how good our cooperation is indeed”, Aggeler said.
