Prior to the Kosovo-North Macedonia joint governmental session, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti, again called on Kosovan authorities to talk to PM Hristijan Mickoski about the issues facing ethnic Albanians in North Macedonia. In that regard, he expressed concern over the Albanian language issue.
“The essence, the core of the Ohrid peace Agreement is being impacted by the changes for which it is being claimed they’re being made to the Law and use of Albanian in the Republic of North Macedonia,” Ahmeti told KosovaPress.
The DUI leader reiterated his criticism also of the Balancer tool’s abolition.
“Without ethnic affiliation and declaring that, there can be tens of reasons why Albanians are not professionally prepared and left to be marginalised,” Ahmeti underlined, adding that “domination of the majority” over the ethnic Albanian community in North Macedonia was being “installed”.
