On Tuesday, PM Hristijan Mickoski said there was additional information over, as he reiterated, DUI’s plan to destabilise the country.
“The response on the ground, based on what we have as information, is very bad, catastrophically bad, because citizens are aware that individuals that plot such scenarios were once paupers who have become millionaires in politics.
They are realising that they don’t have the credibility to be able to animate citizens in order to participate in such protests. Because they want to protect the capital they’ve acquired over the past 20 years.
It’s not that they have some real need for such a thing. On the other hand, information is also coming that they are trying to animate a critical mass in the neighbourhood that would support them in those protests,” the PM noted.
If there is violence, Mickoski underlined, the state and its institutions are ready to respond appropriately and protect the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
