Andonovski Comments on Paracetamol Challenge and Hybrid Attacks Issue

Answering a journalist’s question about the so-called paracetamol challenge, Digital Transformation Minister Stefan Andonovski said on Monday a process to ban TikTok would be initiated if an incident was turning into regular practice.

“We have a little more different approach, as you saw with the issue of online games of chance. When it was noticed it was posing a problem for a broader circle of citizens, we started a process for legal changes and banning of the illegal online games of chance. We will have the same approach to these applications, too”, he stated.

Regarding the bomb threats schools received on Friday, which turned out to be false, Andonovski stated that they had been hybrid attacks. According to the Minister, though there will be hybrid attacks, what matters a lot is how institutions respond.

“Now, they respond systemically, in cooperation with one another”, he underlined.
