Commenting on Tuesday’s designation by the US of ex-Deputy PM for Economic Affairs Koco Angjusev, Deputy PM for Good Governance Policies Slavica Grkovska called on Wednesday on all domestic institutions to take every required measure.
The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) sought dismissal as early as 2019, when it found conflict of interest because of his participation in the debate and the making of the Government’s decision to reduce the customs fee for import of lithium batteries even though his company is in the same business.
However, the Government took no action, that is, the SCPC didn’t even receive a notification, while Angjusev continued to be part of the caretaker cabinet.
