Belanoca-Baron Trial Hearing Postponed

Wednesday’s hearing in the trial of members of the Belanoca-Baron group was postponed.

As the Criminal Court explained, three attorneys were absent. The first was on vacation, the second cited health reasons, while the third didn’t notify the Court he would be absent.

Nine persons are on trial, including the alleged leaders of the group, Fatlum Ajeti (aka Tote), Aqif Ravmanoski. According to the bill of indictment, the group, in an organised fashion, committed eight murders, including the 2023 double one in Skopje’s Old Bazaar, in which two members of the Grcec-Dukjandzik group were killed.

The rest of the charges concern acts such as threats, drug trafficking, and smuggling of firearms.
