Bishop Stojanov, Gashi, and Mickoski Extend Condolences over Pope’s Death

The Catholic Church’s Bishop in Skopje, Kiro Stojanov, has extended condolences over the death of Pope Frances.

“In these days of mourning, as the Church, we’re being called to unification and gratitude over the gift God gave us through Pope Francis”, he said in a message on Monday.

Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi, too, extended condolences.

“The Pope’s death is a deep loss for the entire humankind. As the spiritual leader of our time, he built the principles of peace, social justice, and interreligious dialogue in, becoming the symbol of dedication towards the common good”, he said.

Condolences were extended also by PM Hristijan Mickoski.
