The Accreditation Board that, previously, with 12 votes in favour, approved the opening of a health sciences faculty at International University of Struga (IUST), partially owned by Genc Merko, son of Struga Mayor Ramiz Merko, both blacklisted last year by the US, has now decided to revoke the accreditation to found such an institution.
The decision, made at Monday’s session, abolishes all other legal activities related to a start of work by a faculty of health sciences at the institution, the Board said in a press-release.
