Regarding the nightclub fire case, Kocani Basic Court President Spiro Borisov said on Thursday that investigative proceedings were underway and that there was action upon appeals filed against decisions made by judges in the previous procedure.
“Everyone who has acted as a judge in the previous procedure, according to Article 33 of the Criminal Procedure Law, cannot later on participate as a trial judge, member of a council to assess bills of indictment, and so on. Three judges of the Kocani Court are acting in the previous procedure”, Borisov explained.
