It’s normal for those parties that will nominate ministers and deputy ministers for the caretaker cabinet to vote in favour of that cabinet, PM Dimitar Kovacevski, who will resign on Thursday, has assessed.
As he said on Monday, there is time until Sunday for all procedures. On Wednesday, VMRO-DPMNE’s Executive Committee will hold a meeting which is expected to see the names of its nominees revealed.
Regarding the issue that it’s possible for them not to be part of the cabinet’s list, Nikola Micevski, VMRO- DPMNE Parliamentary Group Coordinator, said on Monday that that would constitute political amateurism and dilettantism.
Thursday will also see Talat Xhaferi resign as Parliament Speaker. He will be the caretaker PM. On Friday, SDSM Parliamentary Group Coordinator Jovan Mitreski will be elected Parliament Speaker, while President Stevo Pendarovski will hand over the mandate for formation of a new Government composition.
