Since the Ali Ahmeti-Arben Taravari meeting on Monday in Gostivar, DUI hasn’t been hiding that it wants Alliance for Albanians, too, in its camp.
However, the opposition from the ethnic Albanian bloc, too, is keeping its door open for Taravari’s party. Taravari says all options are in play even though he states that party members are against a coalition with DUI, while joint participation with SDSM will harm Dimitar Kovacevski’s party. The PM and SDSM leader describes the Ahmeti-Taravari meeting as a positive step for democracy.
DUI is still without a final decision on a pre-election coalition with SDSM. So, the possibility of a DUI-Alliance for Albanians coalition and Kovacevski staying with his traditional partners is not being ruled out, Sitel reported on Tuesday.
