On Monday, Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska and Vanco Isajov, President of the Independent Trade Union of Defence, signed the new Collective Agreement concerning defence sector employees and Army members.
“I am glad that in addition to investing in equipment, we simultaneously improve conditions of employees and their standard, as well as their reputation in society. I will continue to be committed to all your rights being respected and to the Agreement being implemented consistently,” the Minister stated.
Isajov praised the Ministry’s constructiveness, “considering the majority of our proposals have been accepted and we’ve reached this result through dialogue.” Regarding the new Law on Defence Employees, Petrovska praised it, saying it was in line with NATO standards.
