According to VMRO-DPMNE’s MPs, though Ana Pavlovska Daneva has the required qualifications to become a Constitutional Court Judge and is a renowned attorney, they suspect she’s been nominated to discourage her from joining another camp due to the public criticism of the party.
On the other hand, SDSM MP Dime Velkovski stated on Tuesday in Parliament that that criticism was actually an argument in favour, as was the fact that Pavlovska Daneva hadn’t been active within the party for a long time. Velkovski was one of the few ruling majority MPs that attended Tuesday’s session.
The opposition said every MP had the responsibility to attend and participate in the debate.
