Constitutional Court Says No-Confidence Institute doesn’t Apply to Its Judges

In response to DUI’s announcements about filing no-confidence motions against Constitutional Court judges on the eve of the Law on Languages Session, the institution said that the institute of no-confidence motion doesn’t apply to them.

According to the Court, the Constitution doesn’t provide for any possibility of dismissing a judge of its by the legislative and executive power, while every procedure not in line with provisions provided for in the Constitution represents a grave constitutional violation.
