Constitutional Court’s Head and Pavlovska Daneva Meet Italian Ambassador

On Monday, Constitutional Court President Darko Kostadinovski and Judge Ana Pavlovska Daneva held a working meeting with Italian Ambassador Andrea Silvestri.

The meeting focused on the opportunities for bilateral cooperation between the Kostadinovski-headed Court and its counterpart institution in Italy. Kostadinovski briefed Ambassador Silvestri on his priorities.

“Ambassador Silvestri expressed interest in matters related to the providing of the Court’s transparency and openness,” the Court said in the press-release.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on topics related to reforming the judicial system. In that regard, Kostadinovski and Pavlovska Daneva said they hoped the judicial reform process would be in accordance with the Constitution and in the frames of constitutional principles.

Ambassador Silvestri expressed support for the announced priorities, announcing that he would get personally committed to advancing bilateral relations in the field of constitutional judiciary and improvement of overall cooperation.
