Council for Monitoring of Judiciary Reforms Holds Constitutive Session

The Council for Monitoring of Reforms in the Judiciary held on Wednesday its constitutive session.

Justice Minister Igor Filkov chaired the session, saying that the role of this council will be to monitor the implementation of the Development Strategy for Judiciary for the period 2024-2028, and the Reform Agenda for the Period 2024-2027.

According to Filkov, this council will allow a coordinated approach to the obligatory measures and activities for the progress of the state, and will secure transparency, continuity and accountability in the processes of implementation of reforms in the judiciary.

The Council includes members from the government and the judicial institutions of the state, as well as representatives from the NGO sector and judicial experts.
