The Government’s proposal to dismiss Ljupco Kocevski as Chief Prosecutor has reached the Council of Public Prosecutors.
“We’ve received the document, which means the legal deadlines have started”, the former’s President, Dusica Dimitrieska, said on Tuesday.
Now, the institution will consider the proposal and also send it to Kocevski so that he, too, can voice a stand. Then, the process will move to Parliament, which will have final say considering the Council’s opinion (regardless of whether it’s negative or positive) is not binding.
