Dabovic-Anastasovska’s Nomination as Judge Discussed again in Parliament

University professor Jadranka Dabovic-Anastasovska’s nomination as Constitutional Court Judge was among the topics discussed in Parliament on Tuesday.

The ruling majority praised her qualifications, whereas some opposition MPs said all procedures to elect Court judges were marred by controversies.

As the latter added, Parliament should both find a clear procedure to elect judges and enable nominees to present themselves in the legislative house in order for MPs to more easily evaluate them. SDSM MP Snezana Kaleska-Vanceva also discussed challenges facing the Court.
