Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitrovski Believes Bulgaria Dispute will Be Overcome in Coming Period

On Thursday, at a debate the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zoran Dimitrovski expressed concern over, as he said, the stalling of Skopje’s path to EU membership. However, he believes that the dispute concerning Bulgaria will be overcome in the coming period.

Professor Riccardo Redaelli of the Italy-based Catholic University of the Sacred Heart pointed out that the integration process was painful and hard for all countries, not only for North Macedonia. In that regard, he stressed that a lot of patience was needed.

Professor Redaelli is convinced that compromise is the only solution. Skopje Diplomatic Club President Jovan Tegovski considers that the issue is a result of the EU’s indecisiveness.
