Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Maricic held a meeting with US Ambassador Angela Aggeler, the Secretariat for European Affairs reported.
At the meeting, Aggeler and Maricic discussed possibilities for the US to assist the implementation of reforms necessary for the process of EU-integration of North Macedonia.
They both agreed that the state should use the current momentum for getting closer to the EU, and for the partnership with the US to secure support for promotion of more prosperous, better managed and stable country, dedicated to EU-integration.
Maricic said that the US are our strategic partners and very strong supporters of North Macedonia, and thanked Ambassador Aggeler for the continuous support in political and economic fields.
