Asked on Monday why citizens weren’t able to obtain completed personal documents, additional Deputy Interior Minister Mitko Bojmacaliev said there would be an internal investigation within the Ministry.
“There are enough employees. The whole situation will be looked into, the problem will be identified, and there will be a solution to that too. This has been happening over the past 30 days. Prior to that, as you know, citizens would receive documents within 15 days. As the additional Deputy Minister, I want to find out why certain travel documents that have been completed cannot be obtained by citizens so that we can give an answer to the Ombudsperson and to citizens,” he told Sitel.
