The exercise of any civil right will not be called into question if new personal documents are not obtained on time, according to Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski.
“Now, that question is not being asked at all,” he said on Thursday, when asked whether citizens would be able to use old personal documents to vote in the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Regarding the stand expressed the previous day by the Ombudsperson that the state should cover the costs of the procedures to obtain documents containing the constitutional name of the country, the Minister stated that for now, there was no such decision.
