On Tuesday, Parliament, with 87 votes in favour, without any votes against and without abstentions, adopted the conclusion regarding draft changes to the Law on Misdemeanours against Public Order and Peace.
The document had been filed by VMRO-DPMNE MPs in the shortened procedure.
The draft-text, the same day, was passed also at a committee level as well as at a plenary session. The changes will result in the use of pyrotechnics and explosive matters indoors being prohibited.
There will be major penalization for those violating it, while those who repeat the misdemeanor will be sent to detention. Also, the text provides for increased competences by police to prevent and act in the event of a public order and peace violation.
