On Saturday, DUI leader Ali Ahmeti slammed the decision by the State Election Commission (SEC) for the voting process to be repeated in seven polling stations.
At an urgent session of the Central Presidency, he said it was a result of a political deal to take away the European Front coalition’s victory in the parliamentary elections.
“We sealed our victory on 8 May. However, now, through electoral engineering, with plans devised in red basements, there are attempts to strip us off two MP seats,” the DUI leader noted, adding that such behaviour was unacceptable and could impact the interethnic relations too.
