As preparation for the 7 August meeting of the party’s Central Presidency, DUI leader Ahmeti met on Tuesday with part of the party’s leadership, where they discussed, as it was said, “the fake propaganda and accusations over high-level corruption”.
DUI also said it was committed to preventing the fight against corruption from being turned into a battle for daily and party interests, adding that it needed to be used to find out the truth and prevent the harmful phenomenon.
“Hence, we call on all parties, especially those in power, for monitoring for all-encompassing vetting to be requested from the international community, without delay, for covering all public officials in the last 30 years”, it stressed.
