DUI Responds to Mickoski’s Comments, VMRO-DPMNE Reacts

Regarding PM Hristijan Mickoski’s 5 August comments that he had information that DUI would take steps to destabilse the country, Ali Ahmeti’s party reiterated on Wednesday its stand that it will use all democratic mechanisms for the will of citizens to be respected and that it has always had visionary policies for the good of the country.

On the other hand, VMRO-DPMNE said it wouldn’t allow a “criminal gang” to kidnap the future of all citizens and instigate tensions in the country constantly when it was not in power and when it would need to face justice.

“Macedonia is a NATO member and democratic country in which there has to be the rule of law. The sooner DUI faces that and reforms itself, the sooner Macedonia will move forward towards the EU. DUI’s currently being held hostage by a small group of bandits at the top, while Ahmeti, from a national leader of Albanians in Macedonia, is turning into the biggest protector of crime in Macedonia,” Mickoski’s party said.
