DUI has said that, led by its leader, Ali Ahmeti, and leadership, it has started the internal process of all-encompassing reform and vetting.
“DUI MPs have started the reform process with a corruption risk assessment and signed DUI’s Good Practice and Integrity Code. This Code is aligned with the Code concerning good practice at a level of political parties, adopted through a Venice Commission and PACE resolution”, it pointed out in a press-release on Thursday.
The vetting process will also cover senior party officials, members of the presidency, and leadership of local branches.
“This initiative confirms DUI’s commitment to the rule of law and demonstrates the party’s resolve to deal with corruption in all segments”, Ahmeti stated.
