EU Ambassador Michalis Rokas expects the von der Leyen II Commission to be able to deliver results at accelerated dynamism this time around too.
“You should expect a lot of hard work from the new European Commission’s composition. The European Union enlargement process is a top priority for the European Union itself,” he said during a visit to Bitola on Thursday, adding that that was proven by the fact that there was both an Enlargement Commissioner, Marta Kos, and a political director with regards to enlargement.
In that regard, he said all tools were available and should be put into action from the first day of the new composition’s term. The Delegation headed by him and all other EU members present in North Macedonia, Ambassador Rokas noted, remain committed to progress in order for all opportunities offered by the EU to be used.
