“We won’t wave a white flag and give up. We will fight until we emerge victorious when it comes to the Macedonian integration’s blockade,” PM Hristijan Mickoski said on Friday.
Regarding the position on a deferred effect of the constitutional changes, that is, them entering into force once the country joins the EU, he assessed, it is clear and has been already presented to world authorities. The PM is adamant that both him and the cabinet are ready for essential talks over the EU perspectives.
Asked whether some step forward was possible in the coming months as far as communication with Bulgaria was concerned, Mickoski stated that though he couldn’t say, it took two to tango. The government’s stand that it will not give up, Mickoski underlined, will be presented also at meetings with EU representatives in Brussels next month.
