On Thursday, former secret police chief Saso Mijalkov will be released from prison on parole until 25 April 2025.
As the Skopje Court of Appeals said on Monday, the decision was made at a non-public session over Mijalkov’s appeal against the Criminal Court’s decision held on 14 May.
The former secret police chief is doing time in the prison in Struga. He was sentenced to three years in the Empire case.
