On Monday, SDSM leader Venko Filipce said regarding the ethnic Albanian Academy of Sciences (formed and functioning as a scientific society) that putting science in an ethnic context didn’t create any quality whatsoever.
“Dispersing scientific institutions would additionally lower the quality of science,” he added.
According to SDSM, for some progress to be achieved in science, funds for scientific-research activities are supposed to increase. Regarding the announced merger of the Agency for National Security and Intelligence Agency, announced by PM Hristijan Mickoski, he stated that SDSM would notify all strategic partners of the matter and ask that they voice a stand and react.
At the same time, he called on President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova to stop the process because, in his view, the institution will be particisied.
