On Wednesday, SDSM leader Venko Filipce said Republika Srpska’s President, Milorak Dodik, during his speech at the marking of St Sava Day in Skopje, had sent worrying messages.
He called for it to be checked whether his speech had perhaps constituted a hybrid attack on North Macedonia.
“Truly, very worrying messages were sent on St Sava Day, in the presence of the PM, [Hristijan Mickoski,] to boot. Furthermore, the impression is that the PM is surprised the whole time. That begs the question of whether the PM know who his Deputy PM [, Ivan Stoilkovic,] is and in which form the guests had been being invited, whether it’s about a hybrid attack on the country”, he stated, adding that attention had to be paid to what type of guests were invited.
In response, VMRO-DPMNE ironically said Filipce should hire new advisers because they had failed to see and inform him that the PM had the previous day responded to Dodik’s statement [by saying, “Regarding the content of the speech concerning anti-EU, anti-NATO, and so on, I refute it categorically and absolutely disagree”.]
