PM Hristijan Mickoski and SDSM leader Venko Filipce will hold a meeting on tomorrow (03 April) afternoon, both the Government and SDSM confirmed Kanal 5 on Wednesday.
Earlier that day, at a press-conference, Filipce had presented what he said was a “concept for new societal and political dialogue”.
According to him, following the Kocani tragedy, citizens have reacted in a revolted manner over systemic oversights for which all political parties are responsible. Filipce also said he would ask for a meeting with Mickoski in order to present the concept to the PM.
The SDSM leader believes that the judiciary, education, health, and environment, as well as problems with partisanship and politicisation, are the areas where a systemic approach is needed.
“We must free institutions from party influence in order to enable a fair system of employment and progress of young people. Only that way can we raise expertise to the deserved level”, the opposition leader underlined.
Filipce believes it’s important for leaders of all parties to discuss the topics together. Filipce is interested in comprehensively explaining the plan to Mickoski. His hope is other parties, too, will join the dialogue.
