Filipce: SDSM to Obstruct Adoption of Law for Loan from Hungary

SDSM leader Venko Filipce announced that their MPs in the Parliament will do all in their power to prevent the adoption of the draft-law proposed by the government for loaning 500 million euros from Hungary.

“The text of the draft-law does not contain any directives and regulations about how the money is to be spent, and it contains sections which have concealed additional expenses.

The government wants to push and adopt this law in the Parliament in a shortened procedure so that the citizens do not get to know its actual content. This is why we decided to obstruct its adoption. Our MP Sanja Lukarevska chairs the Parliamentary Committee on Finance and Budget, and she will never put this draft-law on the daily order for discussion of the committee,” Filipce said, adding that VMRO-DPMNE made the deal for the loan while they were in opposition, tête-à-tête and without any documented guarantees.
