In Budapest on Tuesday, Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kocoska, on behalf of the Government, signed the agreement on the 500-million-euro loan from Hungary.
“With the signing, we’re today providing 500 million euros for Budget support, for support of local development through projects in municipalities, as well as for support of the economy. That was more than needed for our economy, which had a very weak economic activity in Q1,” she stated, stressing again that the loan conditions were favourable.
The money will have been transferred to accounts in North Macedonia by the end of the week.
