Monday saw the promotion of the Najdi Me (Find Me) system, a website for missing persons. If a person goes missing, its closest ones will be able to visit najdime.org.mk and fill out its profile.
Once it is determined the conditions for the person to be considered missing have been met, its profile will be made public on social media, but also on other partner networks.
“Information will be shared through digital platforms of different businesses, such as banks, who will post it on ATMs. Taxi drivers will get information through internal communication channels. It can be through a text. The association of hoteliers and restaurants will be getting information,” Aleksandra Radevska of the Journalists for Human Rights, the NGO behind the Find Me initiative, says.
The system will also include public city transport and other entities.
