Five Dukjandzik/Grcec Group Members Charged

While Sheval Muaremi, head of the Dukjandzik/Grcec criminal group is at large, five members arrested in January have been charged.

As authorities explained on Tuesday, three of the accused, as part of an organised international criminal group, together with other persons, some of whom are suspects that are at large, others who are dead, and yet others who have already been convicted, were involved in cocaine trafficking.

“On multiple occasions in 2020, these three accused were involved in unauthorised purchase, transport, and release for trade of 15.05 kilograms of cocaine,” the Prosecutor’s Office said.

According to the charge, the group would act from 2019 to March 2021 and, on multiple occasions, get cocaine from South America.

After that, it would be transported to Belgium, Albania, and Kosovo for it to be sold in North Macedonia. All deals on that would be made by Muaremi, who’s, for now, just a suspect because he is in Dubai.

Two of the five persons are charged with being part of a group that would plan and commit murders.
