On Wednesday morning, five new pertussis cases were registered in Skopje.
The controls by the State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate to check whether there is compliance with the decision banning children who aren’t fully vaccinated from going to kindergarten have continued.
Regarding the ambiguities regarding the decision on vaccination, Health Minister Ilir Demiri said everything would be clarified on Thursday, at the extraordinary meeting of the Infectious Diseases Commission, when it would decide whether just the three DTP doses are required or children would have to be also revaccinated.
