Five Suto Orizari Prisoners still at Large

Five prisoners from the Suto Orizari prison are still at large, the institution’s head, Filip Andov, has confirmed for Telma, the TV station in a report at around noon.

Four of them have been missing since Monday morning and one escaped on Friday.

In the same report, Directorate for Execution of Sanctions Acting Director Aleksandar Pandov was quoted as saying that inspection was underway within the prison over the matter.

Several hours later, after the inspection, the Directorate said it had been told by prison police officers that there was bribery, while the money went to the prison’s head, Andov, who refuted accusations.
