Four individuals — A.S. (22), H.E. (20), K.A. (58), all from Skopje, and M.R. (26) from Strumica — have been arrested in connection with the two homicides that occurred within days of each other in the Municipality of Gjorche Petrov. According to the Interior Ministry, they are suspected of two criminal offenses of robbery resulting in death.
Telma has learned that the suspects confessed to the crimes during police station interrogations. An investigative source told the TV station that two perpetrators had participated in the first attack, while three had taken part in the second. The fourth person arrested was the driver who transported them, who defended himself by saying he did not know what his passengers were planning and doing. Short-term detention was sought for the individuals to finalize all evidentiary materials for subsequent proceedings.
