Regarding his allegations over Communal Hygiene, Skopje Mayor Gjorgjievski said prisoners and people under house arrest had been on the PE’s payroll.
He also stated that he’d asked the Financial Police Administration to determine both individual and command accountability, i.e. for those that would receive pay through no-show jobs, those that would sign off on payments, and directors that would approve such action in the frames of PEs to be held to account.
Despite stressing that he was not able to reveal details the Mayor stated that he fully stood by all information presented by him publicly and that he would submit it to the Prosecutor’s Office.
