Goal of Spending 5% of GDP Hard yet not Impossible, Says Misajlovski

According to Defence Minister Vlado Misajlovski, spending 5% of the GDP on defence is a goal that is very hard to achieve. However, he told 360 Stepeni (360 Degrees) that it was not impossible.

As Misajlovski added, it’s not just about creating and fictitiously showing that there is such a budget, that is, it needs to be used properly.

“I am convinced we will gradually be doing that, but we cannot do it all of a sudden because a lot of countries can’t meet that”, he pointed out.
