Government Regrets ‘Macedonia hasn’t Opened Negotiations’

On Tuesday, North Macedonia’s Government congratulated Albania on its start of EU negotiations.

“However, at the same time, we express regret that Macedonia hasn’t opened chapters even though it has deserved that. We continue to explain our policies to unblock the process,” Spokesperson Marija Miteva said.

As she added, Germany’s strong support for the EU path remains.

“We presented our positions regarding the blockade,” Miteva also pointed out, adding that the Government would continue to discuss and present its stands in order to unblock the process.
